Love the consistency of this protein. Does not clump or get stuck. Easy mixes with water. I haven’t tried using it in other ways yet, but with the flavor profiles being on point I’m sure that it would be tasty. Worth a grab for sure.*

Trying this as leaner alternative to BSN Syntha-6 (blend) which I used for 9 years. Mix both w/ whole milk. Comparing Vanilla Ice Cream to same flavor, R1 tastes and mixes slightly worse. However, R1 is 74% protein by calorie, vs 44% for BSN. I consider the trade-offs acceptable in this product switch. At $90/10lb, currently consider R1 whey blend to be a good value as measured by $/g protein.*

Tastes good, mixes well. I like the thicker consistency with less water. Slightly less than 200mL helps me digest it better. Over 200mL sent me to the bathroom. Havent had trouble since using less water. Thought I didnt get a scoop but it was just buried in all the powder. Overall 5/5 with my first experience with this powder*

We've been buying this brand and flavor for over 5 years. It's the best chocolate taste in protein powders for us. With the large containers it's very affordable. My go-to smoothie is one scoop of protein powder, 1-2 frozen bananas, a heaping tablespoon of peanut butter, 20 ounces of oat or almond milk and about 1 cup of ice cubes. Ninja blender does the rest! I make these after a gym workout or 45+ mile bike ride.*

I have tried about three dozen flavors of protein powder in my 25 years of lifting and this is by far my favorite by a wide margin. When mixed with instant oatmeal it makes a meal that I could eat 6 times a day, every day and not bat an eye. Rule 1 Protein is an excellent middle of the road whey. Tremendous product value, mixes very well with water. *
